Executive Board Members for 2026-2027
President: Jenni Hayes
This is Jenni's second year as a part of the PTO board, but she has played a vital role in organizing and planning activities for Pine Creek since her oldest daughter Katie started Kindergarten in 2018! The Hayes have called Bennington home for 10 years. Jenni and her husband Matt have been married for almost 18 years and have 4 children. Katie and Elizabeth are students at Bennington South Middle; Benjamin is a fourth grader at Pine Creek and Henry is 4 and can't wait to start school with his big brother! Jenni loves summer and all the fun it brings! When not running children around to practice and working, Jenni enjoys planning the next family trip!!
Vice President: Megan Hansen
Treasurer: Nicole Colwell
This is Nicole’s third year as the PTO treasurer; she has also played an active role in planning and volunteering for the PTO. Nicole has been married to her husband Craig for 13 years. They have 5 kids; Grayson is in 6th grade, Savannah is in 4th, Amellia is in 2nd grade. They have 2 dogs, Rocky and Skye. Nicole is an accountant by day and a busy mom always. Craig works in home remodeling and construction. They enjoy camping, spending time outside and cheering on the Huskers!! Nicole also enjoys crocheting and crafting with her Cricut which keeps her very busy!
Secretary: Katie Fricke
This is Katie’s third year as part of the PTO board. She is married to Josh and has two children, Jordynn is 15 and will be a junior at BHS and Jackson is 9 and in 4th grade at Pine Creek. Katie keeps busy working as a nurse practitioner, attending the many sports activities for the kids and crafting. She loves high noons and a good time!

Staff Support Coordinator: Jessica Beeson
This is Jessica’s third year on the PTO board, but she has been an active volunteer for the PTO! She had lived in Bennington for 7 years with her husband Joe and 5 children, Coralyn is 11 in 6th grade, Lukas and Olivia are 9 in 4th grade and Kanan & Decker are both 6. Jessica has a master's degree in educational psychology and has dedicated her career to early childhood education.
Community Support Coordinator: Tasha Clerc-Reeves
This is Tasha's second year on the PTO board, but she has also played a big part in the success of the PTO over the years! Tasha has been a part of the Bennington community since moving here in 2015. She is a mom to four boys and also a proud stepmom to two girls. Along with volunteering with the PTO, she is also a part of the Bennington Jaycees and the Bennington Trap Team! She loves helping people, creating fun, meaningful events for students, staff and families and enjoys spending time with her family and running her own business! She is super excited to be a part of the PTO and can't wait to help support our awesome school community!!
Student Support Coordinator: Cristella Torres
This is Cristella’s third year on the PTO board; she too has been an active volunteer since moving to Bennington. She is originally from Texas, but her family lives in Nebraska now. She has 3 daughters that she tries to keep up with, but when not busy with her girls, she enjoys traveling, running, cooking, and art projects.
Board members serve a two-year term and are crucial to the operations of the PTO. It's a great way to meet people, contribute to the success of the staff and students at Pine Creek, and have fun!
